  • From OneDrive: Go to your OneDrive, navigate to the “Recordings” folder, and select the desired file.
  • From SharePoint: Open the relevant team’s SharePoint site, click on “Documents,” and locate the “Recordings” folder within the channel that hosted the meeting.

Locating Recordings in the Meeting Chat History

After a meeting, the recording will appear in the meeting chat. Here, you’ll see a preview link that directs you to the stored location (OneDrive or SharePoint).Additionally, if the meeting took place within a specific MS Teams channel, the recording will also appear in the related channel conversation.

  1. Open the Microsoft Teams app.
  2. Navigate to the “Chat” tab and find the relevant meeting conversation.
  3. Click on the recording link that appears in the chat. You’ll be redirected to OneDrive or SharePoint, depending on the storage location.
